We're recruiting team members to be part of The PublicAsian. Applications are open for the following positions:

Writers

For those passionate about contributing to blog articles surrounding affairs in Asia. You will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging and informative pieces to be published on the website. As a writer, you will have full creative freedom to discuss topics of your choosing. Strong proficiency in written English is required.

Editors

As an editor, you will contribute to maintaining the quality and consistency of our content. You will collaborate with the writers to ensure accuracy and clarity, as well as adherence to The PublicAsian's guidelines. Proficiency in written English is required, and familiarity with referencing styles is preferred.

Researchers

Researchers work alongside the writers to collect and analyse relevant data to ensure that all content is sufficiently supported with evidence. You may be tasked with conducting in-depth research on various topics, industries or issues. Preferred candidates will demonstrate strong time management, organisational, and communication skills.

Marketing Officers

As part of The PublicAsian's Marketing Team, you will manage the social media accounts. In addition to creating and posting engaging content on our socials, you may hone your marketing skills by developing outreach strategies to promote the platform.


All positions are voluntary (unpaid), but serve as valuable experience. As this is a remote position, we accept applicants from anywhere in the world. Hours are flexible, as we absolutely prioritise the quality of our content. The PublicAsian welcomes applicants from all backgrounds; previous experience is not required – we value candidates that are passionate, driven, and committed to our cause.
